Hello again!
It is quite a beautiful day outside today, I’m sick, I have homework I forgot about but since I’m staying home from school, I might as well do it. So, I have been instructed to share my favorite school story/ies. I’ll try to make it as interesting as possible.
5th grade.
Great great time to be alive in a class with 8 people in total. My story from this year is one about a unit we did. See, in my elementary school, every month we studied something new. This month I am talking about, we studied the deep ocean. We had a lot of laughs and cool things to learn about. It was getting about fall or winter so maybe in october or november. We made these big, paper versions of our animals. My animal was the 7 gilled blunt nosed shark. I learn almost everything I could know about it. At the end of the unit, we put up black trash bags of sorts over the windows and walls to simulate what it looks like at the bottom of the ocean. We then, hung our animals to the ceiling and proceeded to present to the rest of the school and our parents what we had made and what we had learned. It was awesome.
6th grade.
We studied the history of the great silk road. It was a journey that went all throughout asia and sometimes touched into europe.. It was a great trading route that merchants, caravans and others would use to cross the continent and sell their items at markets all over. Near the end of our study, we got to make our own market and sell things. It was awesome and super fun.
I don’t really have many more good stories so I’ll have to cut it off here.
